You can contact our 24/7/365 Help Desk for any issue, whether it is with your device, the FedEx Ground Application suite, or data plan. Our support representatives will work with you to resolve the problem in as timely manner as possible.

  • If your device is not working properly, we can remotely diagnose the problem using our Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools
  • If your device is broken, we can help you return it to the manufacturer for repair. Or, if you are eligible for a next day replacement device (offered with Standard and Pro bundles only), we can help arrange for a next day replacement device to be shipped to you, provided the request is received prior to the cutoff time of 3:30PM EST for Zebra and 7:00PM EST for Panasonic.

24/7/365 Help Desk - Our helpdesk team is there to assist with any issue, whether it is with your device, the FedEx Ground Application suite, or data plan. Our support representatives will work with you to resolve the problem in as timely a manner as possible.

 

Mobile Device Management (MDM) Remote Assistance - If your device is not working properly, we can remotely diagnose the problem using our Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools.

 

Deployment Staging Services - "Ready out of the box” devices give your drivers the ability to start scanning on day 1, with the SIM card activated. Your devices will arrive charged, tested, pre-loaded with the FedEx Ground Software Suite, and ready to go.

The Panasonic FZ-N1 and Zebra TC77 both run on the Android OS. Although both of these devices will run any Android application compatible with the versions, prior to shipment Peak Technologies will be loading the FXG pre-authorized applications on to the devices, including the P&D application. This means the devices will be ready to use immediately out of the box.

 

Automatic Application Updates & Software Release Management – Automatically receive the latest updates for the device and STAR V application when the device is plugged in and attached to a WiFi network overnight. If you are looking for the application update schedule, click here.

 

Device Locator (Pro Bundle Only) - Find your lost or misplaced devices by contacting our Help Desk, who can remotely find them and pinpoint their location via GPS for you using our Mobile Device Management tools.

 

Device Insurance (Pro Bundle Only) - Provides additional coverage above and beyond the manufacturer’s warranty/repair services in the event your device is lost or stolen. Applicable only to devices shipped to and used within the US.

CSP’s will have their choice of 3-year or 5-year comprehensive* extended warranty options.

Comprehensive coverage goes beyond standard warranty: “If it’s broken, we fix it.” Coverage includes device replacement that covers accidental damage, wear and tear, damaged accessories, product defects, failures, and any other damage sustained when the device is used as intended in the work environment.

Peak Technologies provides a one-stop-shop for your cellular data service needs. Key features include: multi-carrier SIM dynamically moves between AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile networks to optimize coverage regardless of where you are located; pooled data plans for your drivers; option for voice; and more. In Canada, our Smart SIM supports Rogers, Bell, and Telus.

Based on the data usage requirements of FedEx Ground STAR V P&D Application, a 500MB per device per month cellular data plan is the minimum requirement. The usage of additional data intensive applications such as GPS turn-by-turn direction, which varies by user, will most likely increase the demand for cellular data. We recommend that you purchase a cellular plan above and beyond the stated minimum requirement to avoid potential overage charges.
